The search for the legendary white whale has begun. The monomaniacal Ahab offers a coin to any sailor brave enough to help him get to the whale. Ishmael longs to see the watery parts of the world and senses an opportunity with Ahab. A prince who wants to know more about the world boards the Pequod and becomes part of the crew. He doesn’t work for free though as he is looking to get paid for his harpooining sevices.
Ahab has his eyes set on the whale that took his leg, but most importantly, he wants to find out why. Stuck in deep philosophical thought, he ponders if he will be able to find the answers to his questions. He needs more than two men in his crew, so he recruites Starbuck, Fedallah, and Pip. Ishmael develops a friendship with Queequeg, having a shared thirst for Adventure.
In this epic tale, we discover the grand sea, its beauty, and the horror of its inner depths. Ahab is determined to right the wrong that shouldn’t have happened, he looks at the sky and challenges the universe itself. The Pequod and the crew sail for the biggest Adventure of a lifetime in pursuit of the legendary white whale. Ahab and Ishmael take turns narrating the story, making sense of all the adventure through their own eyes. It isn’t always smooth sailing though.
